Located at the gateway to the Oxford Business Park, Trinity by Breakthrough is a new addition to Oxford’s thriving research community. Designed to be one of the most sustainable laboratory environments in the world, this amenity-filled building will set a new standard of quality and intentional design, with a focus on purpose-built spaces for science.The client’s vision was to create a building of the highest design quality with wellbeing and sustainability at its heart. They wanted to work with a riser provider who shared this commitment, delivering a solution that aligned with the building's green credentials, minimising environmental impact while ensuring exceptional performance and reliability.
For the Trinity by Breakthrough project, we collaborated closely with the mechanical and electrical contractors to ensure seamless integration of the riser system. Our technical department designed the supporting structure around the services and providing 2D drawings for accurate installation, resulting in an efficient and effective solution.
GridGuard’s lightweight, durable design played a key role in supporting the project's sustainability goals. By reducing the energy required for transport and installation, GridGuard helped lower carbon emissions. Its long-lasting performance also minimises the need for ongoing maintenance, further contributing to a reduced carbon footprint throughout the building's lifecycle.
Additionally, the system’s cost-efficiency through reduced installation and maintenance costs provided significant long-term value, aligning perfectly with the project's vision for sustainability and high-quality development.
